"Political Theology": Lecture by Alexander Filippov in Kazan Federal University

Professor Alexander Filippolv, head of Center for Fundamental Sociology, has given a lecture in Institutre for Social and Philosophical Sciences in Kazan Federal University

The presentation by professor Filippov was dedicated to basic issues regarding Carl Schmitt's political theology. In the beginning of his lecture he gave a general outline of the history of the research of the problem, gave several basic definitions, gave the methodological caution against termonological problems, and showed that conceptual assonance does not imply the identity of content; hence, it is necessary to consider the meaningful content as it was implied by author.
